Make me your 'Trick Bitch'...
Damage Parsers are interesting, but to be fair, they do have several holes in them. For instance: You have a Thief, a Ranger, and a Black Mage in a group, And the Damage Split is about 26, 28, 32. But In a group With a Thief, Dark, and a Black Mage where the damage split is more along the lines of 40, 20, 40. Because: The Dark has to use a compatable Weaponskill, thus limiting thier damage and adding thier own potential damage to the thief's pool. Making Any 'What class is better' argument bullshit.
Which Coincidentally brings us back to our point... Party Eficiency..
All I am saying is this:
If you want to get the maximum exp out of the time you spend Partying:
Use each and every person in your group to its full potential.
As a thief, having been in many groups as the opposition in this thread suggests, I can tell you, there is a better way of doing things. If you want me, your thief, to not put my full potential into your party, bring maximum Damage to your Target, and Properly Balance the Hate table to let the rest of the group preform to the pinacle of thier ablities; then all I got left to say is this: You are a waste of my, and everyone else you party with's time.
Its like asking a ranger to not use Barrage, or asking a Black mage not to Magic Burst, or asking your Melee not to skillchain. Your arguments in this thread is the very formaldehide that the lazy fucks that i had to party with have been pumping into my veins that gave birth to this thread in the first place. But guess what? I'm not fucking dead yet, so quit sharing your juices with me... Go play a thief past 60 then come back and argue with me on how to do my job. But I can assure you with 100% certanty that you would be on my side of the argument by that time.
