The demo for this game came out a few days ago and I just got around to playin' it this afternoon. I gotta say, it's absolutely amazin'. I had very low hopes because it's a Strategy game and made by Sega but the demo is awesome to the max. So I'm pretty pumped about Tuesday with this and the new Naruto hittin'.

Here's the IGN video review:

I love the graphics so hopefully it wont be the last time we see somethin' like this. I also like the whole story book layout, as seen in the review. Looks to be a very, very good reason to own a PS3, hopefully I'll feel the same after Tuesday.

Was okay, liked the graphics, but gameplay wasn't my cup of tea. Kinda fun though, might rent it up or something.

Exactly how I feel, not my type of game really :x

I've been excited for this game since it was announced. It is ordered.

Hands down, without a single doubt, the best game I've bought since 1997.

What was 97'? Goldeneye?

You know what? This game feels like it could almost be legendary, so play it before its hip to boys and girls.

I've already put over 12 hours into the game and I'm only on chapter 7. There are 18 chapters, 4 of which are 2 part chapters, and 4 side chapters. That is 26 missions, at least, and doesn't include skirmishes on normal-easy or skirmishes on hard-ex (which are all different). So looks like there is tons of stuff to do.

The only thing I don't like about the game is the rating system on the missions. It doesn't matter how well you actually do in the mission it only matters how fast you do it. To get an A rank in most missions requires you to kamikaze one person. It's a good thing rank doesn't mean much in terms of reward. You can often C-D rank a mission and get the same XP and money because of the kills you rack up.

There are also hidden enemies in the levels that, if found and killed, put out some nice loot. Be wary of not findin' these guys if you're just blowin' through the missions. While items don't really count for a whole lot if you're just tryin' to play through, they greatly maximize your potential in skirmishes and battles down the road.

I can see where a lot of people wouldn't enjoy this game, seein' as the king of games seems to be generic shooters now-a-days, but in a generation littered with retards and bad games this game is a light of hope, imo. SEGA just made up for killin' the Dreamcast with one disc.

How do you get hard skirmishes? lol I'm on chapter 10 and only get normal. On a side note I can see why people wouldn't like this game if they were hoping for either a RPG or a FPS because its its not really either.

Beat the game. Then you'll get Hard and should get EX-Hard butmayhave to beat them on Hard first.

This game reminds me of FF Tactics for SNES with the battle positioning and turn-based system. Obviously has some perks, but I've enjoyed it so far :D

It's a great game, but I wished some of the objectives were more complex and made use of all of the unit types more evenly. 90% of the maps are centered around capture the flag where you can super scout dash to the finish line in like 2 turns. That's my only real complaint though..everything else was great. I'd LOVE to see more games use their animation style. The music is great and the story is awesome as well.

You must have gotten either lucky as hell or boosted your scouts to 20. No way in hell that will work past where Welkin and Alicia get seperated from their squad. A -few- maps though you're right. There is one map early on, chapter 3, where you can just use a single Shocktrooper and get to the flag in two turns, I use it for levelin' up. Aside from that map it's a little more difficult but doable, definitly not by someone on their first playthrough unless they are followin' a guide. I'd also encourage you to do the maps on Hard and EX-Hard, you really wont Scout dash those.
