Actually the drug argument kinda works for me as well... i don't think that drug dealers should be arrested they are just profiting off of a service that is requested. It is the drug users that are the problem.

You dont even have to answer that as its off topic, but really man just shut the fuck up and quit posting.

I think I'm going to have to agree with that statement. You make retarded arguments and do your best to back them up but you're still a fucking idiot.

And you both fail at making arguments entirely and resort to saying shut the fuck up and circle jerking each other.

Honestly guys. I think Deja has a perfectly viable perception on things. Not that I agree, but it doesn't make it any less mmm logical.

It just doesn't sit well with many of us. To most it's unethical. However to look at it from a business point of view, it makes sense. WHEN the comparisons were brought into play it made my thought sway. I think it was the tobacco company comparison.

My view point is that because the Governments allow it as a controlled substance they should be more responsible in banning and closing tobacco companies to help their populations. It won't happen though, not in my life time... and I understand why. It's a business, and in this case the Government is also profiting from it.

Sooooooo as much as I don't agree with the rmt (even never recgonising the direct impact myself) I understand his perspective.

It's not stupid.

I know it's against TOS and I know it makes ingame careers a bitch to many, that's why I don't agree with it, but it's the black market (someone mentioned earlier) and no one, no one country has complete controll over their Black Markets. It's a business that will just keep on going as long as there's merchandise.

You're right, they're not doing it right.

Keep the arguments about buying and selling virtual items that are hazardous to one's wallet, not about the buying and selling of illegal substances that are hazardous to one's life.

No we don't. We've done a hell of a job pointing out your hypocrisy in the buying/selling thing. Cheebs can back you up all she wants but in the end you want to engage in RMT just as much as a buyer does. I don't care if you want to start comparing it to drugs/addicts and mcdonalds/fat people, you're still making a hypocrite out of yourself. Now get back to making those annoying, hypocritcal, conspiracy filled, spamming posts.

O.o Did I just become the deciding factor in a winner? wtf lol

Weird Miros... just weird. Did ya have to?? :/

... I did find a lot of hypocrisy.

I found some valid points on both sides... and I just WANTED to say that Dejas perception they way he laid it out made sense to me. Maybe my minds just as fucked as his >.>

Selling your account is like telling all your friends their friendship is for sale.

And buying Kraken Clubs is bad.

I sold your friendship Gunner? :( Aww where is my Flame for selling my account guys? No one cares about selling accounts and shit these days. We all know it happens and that SE does nothing about it.

Deja if you wanna start here this came off the portal at Nirvana-ls.com "On another hand, WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING TO BUY KRAKEN CLUB (WILL BUY MULTIPLES) Contact me, Hess or Frostedbutts if you got one." :P I mean not that it matters who it is, but if finding it out will satisfy you, more power to you lol.

Also no one even try saying i'm starting up shit with Nirvana either or anything because that is right on their public portal page. Pretty sure SOMEONE would try saying something about that. Not that Nirvana would care anyway.

it was a complete joke from a sig on BG, not aimed at you or anyone, i fully plan on selling my account when quit.

And everyone on the portal i paying gil not 800$ or w/e

Looking to buy kraken club automatically means using USD.

right

Ah lol wasn't sure, ya paying $800 is just stupid

If you're talking to me, was pretty much just telling Deja "Hey start here if it will make u feel better"

If you were talking to Gunner, he said "800$, or w/e" He could have meant or any other currency by "or w/e"

Yay for Mansin being an ass for no reason at all, you win!

But you automatically assumed that we were buying them with real currency. I was referring to you.

So, like, do all the idiots who sell their account have some fucking fan club site or something? They really all just come and post stupid shit when someone says one word about RMT.

Yeah I don't think it's the same argument. I have no problem with anyone selling their account because it doesn't effect me in anyway. Of course there's people who feel a different way and I respect them on their opinion. This flame is about how Dejavu is say that he does not agree with people buying items, gil, or accounts yet plans on selling his account when quits. I'm sure when you sold your account, you weren't against the person buying your account because that would just be stupid.

I actually never sold my account. Sano still is in my control, just for the record.

I think we've seen that here at QCDN, the consensus is that actions related to the game are clearly equal to other actions made in a persons life.

Ah right, forgot you said "everything is gone except the account." My mistake, but you get my point.

I can understand Deja's point of view of the potential KC buyer. Buying to get some kind of status that they didn't earn...is something I don't agree with either.

However, saying that you are going to sell your account and trying to get the server to shun this person is not going to help your cause at all. People who do not the act of RMTing will still continue to denounce it, and will make their dislike of it known. I don't like it as it goes against my moral ethics so to speak.
People who do not mind it are not going to care about this any which way since it doesn't necessarily affect them.

I personally would like to know who is this buyer, and if he did in fact obtain one.
I also would like to know who sold him one so I can steer clear of the seller.

So, the OP's take on selling an account is namely overlooking that a sale can only be made when there's someone to sell to. Without one, there cannot be the other. You cannot be in support of something that is as linked as this without the other half.

The analogy using illegal substances was moot, as well. A seller may not necessarily do the drug/drugs he or she sells, but understands perfectly well that for there to be a market for the substance, it has to have a quality that is desired by the buyer.

I'd recommend thinking clearly in the future before attempting to make a link to poor judgment in real life. While you may frown upon this individual posting an advertisement for something they desire that has no physical value, you will be feeding the fire eventually for some sort of monetary gain. You will be supplying a user with the means to feel good about the purchase they made. You are doing something for that buyer. You as a salesman of the product you intend to sell in the future are in a direct relationship with the other market.

Also, Sanoske brings up a good point regarding ethical links the general user base of QCDN tends to make toward real life and game qualities, but I will bring up that it's a fair assumption, given that this is a messageboard that allows them to interract. Most people here only know each other by their game status. While most judgements made toward real life character in relation to this similarity will be presumptuous or false in nature, the response is certainly valid. Something doesn't have to be right, to have a reason.
