question

Hey all. Sorry if this has been posted before. My question is, how will it work with the expansion as far as booting up the game? Will I be able to boot the game off the new expansion disk full time? Or will it just be a download off the disk, and I have to boot off the old disk? The reason...

I know I might have asked this before but... When I WS with V stones equipped, "could" it use a stone and add an extra swing to my, lets say Steel Cyclone. Atm I swap my Bibiki Seashell in for SC with fort axe, but if V stone offers another hit, that would be better.

Well, I finally broke down and created an account on the infamous quetzy drama boards. And in good form I will make my first post a flame post, about a few ruthless scumbags within the HappyAngel linkshell. Will it resolve anything? Probably not. Will it make me feel better? Maybe. Atleast...

I was wondering if +Haste% gear (swift belt, turban, etc) negates or overwrites +Slow% gear. Do they even themselves out? Example of my question: I wear Walahra Turban Haste +5% and Hecatomb mittens Slow+5% Am i now attacking normal speed? Is there an equation for this situation? Someone...

Simple enough question. Say I do an attack while meleeing and follow it up by a ranged attack. How does that affect the delay on my next swing?? Same thing for spells? Is that any different from ranged attack??

I've been asking around lately and I can't seem to get an definite answer about this, so I thought it'd be best to ask here. Is it common for some shells (HNM/endgame and such) to "buy" KS99 orbs in exchange for Black Belt item drops? Is this practice frowned upon, or is this an acceptable...

Say we've got 3 people across 2 locations, and 2 XBL Gold accounts. House1: Bob House2: Tony + Sally Bob & Tony have XBL Gold. They play Halo3 together. Can Sally join in their game with just a Silver account, and splitscreen with Tony? Or does Sally need Gold so that she can game with Bob?

I'm new? :/ I have a question. I know this is really noobish but how do I read my messages? I don't see the option and I've looked everywhere xD.

Been looking over some gear at ffxiah. I see that astrals are way down in price. Now i am curious, if i am main healin as RDM does stacking as much MP as i can a good idea? THen throwing on HP gears for convert good also? This fucking convert is driving me up a fucking wall (Dane cook fans will...

Okay, I've said it about a hundred times since I left the game in early 2006, but for real this time, I am coming back one way or another. Right now, I'm trying to figure out the best way to do this with the least amount of down time. I never uninstalled the game, or even deleted my characters...

just curious if anyone has ever had these thoughts or questions and if so, what you think... my whole life, i've always been nice to everyone no matter what and do my best not to offend people or make bad situations worse... i've just always felt... if you're involved in a problem with...

Well, I was having a problem for a while with what I thought was my computer overheating. My monitor would freeze for a moment, and then my FFXI window would close. It used to happen like once a day, so I got over it. Now it seems to happen more and more often. In Dynamis, Besieged, and EXP...

I'm having a continuing problem with Pankration, one which is annoying me enough to almost quit it entirely. My problem has to do with this bitch here: Of the last 12 or so fights I have entered on two different mobs in, about seven of them the results were "lost." I tried waiting a while...

I got my Xbox360 about a year ago, because I wanted to try playing FFXI from the comfort of my couch. I created an account and gamer profile at that time. I haven't used it in almost a year. In fact, I don't really use my 360 much. I have 3 games total: MarvelUA, Forza2, and Halo3. Now I am...

And I mean serious. Its so serious that I've asked several people, and none of them had a good answer. And I need to know. Why is it called a blowjob? Wouldn't a blowjob mean you actually blow on it? I can't imagine sitting there blowing on the penis would do much good. And I can't imagine...

Hey, for all you pet owners, I has a question. I just got a new puppy yesterday and my old puppy is scared shitless of him. My old puppy buddy is about 7 months old and the new one is 2 months old. Buddy the 7 month old will panic and shake whenever the new puppy(Fenrir) goes near him. Anyone...

Yeah, yeah, I know... Was trying to see if I could get Windower (3.3) to work on my PC but for some reason FFXI will auto-close if it's the front window. It runs just fine if it opens in the background first, but then if I click on it it instantly closes as well. Does anyone know what the...

About three weeks ago, I decided to upgrade my computer, it was a store-bought model that I bought quickly because my laptop had just died in a power storm, so I needed pretty much anything that would run decently. The only thing I had modified was the graphics card, because that was the only...

For melee, is peacock charm over rated towards endgame? There are tons of substitutions for it now, such as Chiv. chain and spectacles not to mention all of the different ACC+ items there are now, such as homan, Einherjar ect. and there is a cap as to how much ACC you can have, if I'm not...
