THE OFFICIAL 2009 FOOTBALL SEASON SMACK TALKING THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuck...of course I'm disappointed with the loss but Rex had a great first year and I look forward to seeing the JETS develop under him and come back better next year.

wheres this saints explosiveness that i heard of?

I was tempted to stop watching when the refs called the rediculous holding on the Jets. Sanchez on that play was hit, blindsided, 4-5 seconds after he handed the ball off... No call though lol.

the winner of this game deserves to move on. what a battle

Way to fuck up Brett lol.

And that my friends is why Brett is great and TERRIBLE at the same time. All he had to do was take 4-5 more steps and fall to the floor... The game would have been potentially over. Omg Brett ftw!

Lets see if he gets a chance to make up for it.

Yeah I saw a wide open field and I'm like "Why the hell didn't he scramble, go down, and call timeout? This game would be over lol." I mean, I'm cheering on the Saints, but seriously, what was Brett thinking?

Oh man that is likely the game right there, uncatchable ball is supposed to be a no call, and the guy fell down, not to mention unintentional trips arent supposed to be flagged either.

Hella glad im not a Vikes fan, i was completely unbiased for this game. I was content with either one making the Super Bowl, as its going to be them i would be going for to beat the Colts.

with this game being done and seeing how the saints played against a team that gave them a challenge, they wont beat the colts. saints didnt show me anything that would make me say they are hands down a better team. especially on the offensive side of the ball.

I came into this game unbiased as well. Its sad to see that when it all came down to it the refs were not in the same boat as us... lol. That was a really really bad back breaking call. But it will not top Favre giving me the most WTF moment i have ever seen in my life lol...

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

PI was a bullshit call, fucking 5 turnovers... absolutely fuckin ridiculous.

you know its bad as far as turnovers go when your dreading adrian peterson getting the ball

I know some of the Saints fans here are gonna defend their team to the grave, but point is im no Vikes fans but that was a bullshit call. Grats to NO, but they better get their shit together because they played a team that made 4 or 5 turnovers and only won by 3. While the Vikes probably have more talent than the Colts, the Colts are a much more fundamentally sound team, and these mental lapses and mistakes are much less likely.

I don't know why you have a cool face Zalt, you guys are gonna lose in two weeks!

My predictions still have been right for the most part, the Jets got further than I thought, but I've been predicting a Colts-Saints Superbowl and that's what we're getting. Now my last prediction has to come true ;)

Why i have a cool face? first superbowl in franchise history comes to mind.
i'm looking for that big saints helmet pick i used awhile back.

What a shit game played by the vikes. All those stupid turnovers and the Saints still only won by a field goal in OT. If i were a saints fan i wouldn't be happy with anything about that game. They were punting left and right and Brees was never really had all that much pressure. I don't think the better team won that match, but thems the breaks of the NFL.

Drew did look a little tired and the vikings do have a better defense then us. it's a pitty they threw ball security to the winds, and the game to us. :)

The better team always wins the match. The vikings lost because they kept droping the ball, both litterally and figuratively. Had they not committed so many turnovers the game never would have seen overtime, and they would be the ones going to Miami. To be the better team one of the things you cannot do is make repeated mistakes. Vikings did, Saints didn't, Saints advance.

The team that played better tonight was the Vikings. The better team was the Saints. If you make mistakes, you'll most likely lose. We found out that the hard way last week against the Vikings.
